Home Inspection

Are you planning on buying a home?  This may be the most important and expensive purchase of your life.  If you are planning to purchase privately remember that without a realtor your risk goes up a great deal.  Get an inspection to decrease that risk.  We offer professional inspections with professional reports printed and emailed to you on site.  InterNachi certified member, Registered Home Inspector with CAHPI.

Air Quality inspections

If you wish, you can request a variety of air quality samples be taken in your home for things which concern you such as mold/allergens/asbestos/RADON (C-NRPP certified and C-ARST member)

These samples will be taken with professional tools and kits specifically designed for the sample we are testing for.  The samples are sent to an accredited laboratory for analysis and reporting.  These reports will be given to you personally by our staff so that we are able to ensure you understand completely what was or was not found.

Mold Inspection

We do discreet, and professional mold inspections in your home or business.   Nothing on our vehicles will be showing your neighbors that you are worried about mold in your home/business.

All of our samples are sent to an accredited laboratory for professional analysis and reporting.  You will be provided with a detailed lab report, and inspection repore which will be discussed with you by our staff personally to ensure you understand the results of the inspection.

In a mold inspection you can ask for a full mold inspection which will include an inspection of your home for areas of high moisture and water intrusion, as well as samples. You can also ask only for samples  which will be taken in areas of concern as well as a control area (usually outside).  A full mold inspection will usually take about 2 hours to complete depending on the size of your home.

Post-abatement air sampling

Did you find out you needed to have some mold or asbestos removed from your home?  Did you get a professional to perform it?  Was the mold a small enough amount and kind that you could do it yourself?  Whatever the case, you should have your air tested to ensure that there are no residual pollutants in your home.  Remember if you had a mold abatement, did you find and correct the issue that caused the mold to grow in the first place?

Renovation Packages

Are you planning a renovation?  Do not plan an expensive renovation without doing an inspection first.  It does not make sense to spend all of that hard earned money to build that beautiful kitchen/bathroom, or basement only to have to tear it apart afterward to fix a problem that could have been fixed cheaper and easier BEFORE you started your renovation.  Talk to us to find out what we can do for you.

Move-In Certified

Are you selling your home?

Here are some advantages of having your home-for-sale inspected before you list it:

You can choose an InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector® to inspect your home first, which may prompt the buyer to waive his own inspection contingency. And even if he doesn't, a Seller Inspection means you won't be in for any surprises.

You can schedule your inspection at your own convenience, rather than accommodate a buyer and his inspector.

You can assist your inspector during the inspection, which is something not normally done during a buyer's inspection.

A Move-In Certified® Seller Inspection may alert you to any immediate concerns, such a broken pressure-relief valve.

The Seller Inspection:

allows you to take the time to shop for competitively priced contractors to make repairs, rather than making rushed decisions to get things fixed in a hurry;

lets you attach repair estimates or paid invoices to the inspection report; and

removes over-inflated buyer-procured repair estimates from the negotiating table.

Move-In Certified® yard signs, free from your InterNACHI inspector, will attract potential buyers touring homes in your neighborhood.

A Move-In Certified® Seller Inspection is the ultimate gesture in forthrightness on your part.

There are other distinct advantages of having a Move-In Certified® Seller Inspection report:

You're given the opportunity to dispute any misstatements in the inspection report before it's distributed to real estate agents and prospective buyers.

The report provides an unbiased, third-party, professional opinion about the condition of the home to potential buyers.

The report may encourage the buyer to waive his own inspection contingency, so the deal is less likely to fall apart the way they often do when a buyer's inspection reveals unexpected problems at the last minute.

The report can be hosted on, which can be used as an effective marketing tool.

The report can help you realistically price the home if problems exist.

The report can help you substantiate a higher asking price if problems don't exist or have been corrected.

The report may relieve a prospective buyer's unfounded suspicions and concerns before he walks away from an otherwise great deal.

The report provides full-disclosure protection from future legal claims.
